Putin-Modi Bilateral Talks : Russian President Vladimir Putin reached India on Thursday evening on a two-day visit. Also, he has reached Hyderabad House today for bilateral talks. Here Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed President Putin and both of them shook hands with each other warmly. At the same time, before the bilateral discussion, PM Modi thanked Putin for reaching India and expressed his views on many important issues. During this, Prime Minister Modi said that India is not neutral and it stands in favor of peace in the Russia-Ukraine dispute. He further said that this dispute should end through dialogue and diplomacy.

Russia working on peaceful solution: Putin

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that we support a peaceful resolution of this dispute. On the other hand, Putin said that Russia is working on a peaceful solution to end this dispute. Apart from this, PM Modi said in his address that Your Excellency, your visit is historic. When you took charge in 2001 and when you came to India for the first time, the foundation of strong relations between India and Russia was laid. He further said that it is a matter of happiness for me also that my relationship with you has completed 25 years. Also, while throwing light on the relations between the two countries, PM Modi said that I believe that the role you played in Russia in 2001, India-Russia relations are a great example of how a visionary leader thinks and how far he can take the relations.

PM spoke in detail on Ukraine crisis

Regarding the Ukraine crisis, Prime Minister Modi said that we have been discussing this issue and as a true friend, you have also informed us about every situation. I understand that trust is the biggest thing and I have also said as per my understanding that everyone needs to come together and work on one platform to maintain world welfare and peace. At the same time, I have full faith that one day the world will definitely return to the path of peace. He said that when I had a conversation with the world leaders recently, I had clearly said that India is not neutral, it also has a side and that is the side of peace. At the same time, we stand shoulder to shoulder to resolve issues peacefully. The whole world has traveled from Covid to here and the world will once again return to the path of progress.
