The film earned a grand total of Rs 25.11 crore on Ornith Day. Made under the banner of Maddock Films, this film is not only scaring people but also making them laugh. Talking about the story of ‘Thamma’, it revolves around a journalist Alok Goyal (Ayushmann Khurrana). Alok’s life changes completely after meeting Tadka (Rashmika Mandanna). Tadka is not an ordinary girl, but she has many powers.

The story of ‘Thamma’ takes an interesting turn when Alok himself turns into a Betal. Then he encounters Yakshasan (Nawazuddin Siddiqui).
