Shweta Suman Nomination Cancelled- Before the Bihar Assembly elections, the Grand Alliance has suffered a major setback. The nomination of RJD candidate Shweta Suman from Mohania Assembly seat of Kaimur district has been cancelled. Election Commission canceled the nomination of Shweta Suman, after which RJD is attacking the Election Commission. Shweta Suman has accused the Election Commission that her nomination has been deliberately canceled and she will lodge an objection against it.
Why was Shweta Suman’s nomination canceled?
Let us tell you that the Election Commission has canceled the nomination of Shweta Suman considering her to be a native of Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, BJP had filed a complaint with the Election Commission against the nomination of RJD candidate, after which this action was taken. BJP alleges that in the last assembly elections, Shweta Suman had filed her nomination as a resident of Chandauli in UP, but this time she has declared herself a native of Bihar to contest the elections on a reserved seat. The Election Commission investigated and rejected Shweta’s nomination for giving wrong information.
Shweta accused BJP
Angered by the cancellation of nomination by the Election Commission, Shweta Suman told the media – BJP and their candidates are afraid of me, my party and the RJD government. They are doing this injustice by using the Election Commission. If their government comes to power, they will destroy Bihar. Shweta said on her residence certificate that- I have been living here for 20 years and they say that I am not a native of Bihar and my caste certificate is from UP.
Grand alliance’s troubles increased
Let us tell you that before Shweta Suman, the nomination of another candidate of the Grand Alliance was canceled. The nomination of Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) candidate Shashi Bhushan Singh from Supauli seat was canceled. In this way, due to the rejection of nominations of Grand Alliance candidates, NDA is becoming stronger on those seats.
BJP strengthened in Mohaniyan
In Mohania assembly seat, BJP had fielded Sangeeta Kumari against Shweta Suman. However, now after the cancellation of Shweta’s nomination, BJP has become stronger there. Let us tell you that in the last elections, Sangeeta Kumari had won Mohania seat from RJD ticket. In 2024, Sangeeta joined BJP and now she is giving competition to the Grand Alliance.
