Putin India Visit Live: President Vladimir Putin is on a two-day visit to India. President Murmu and PM Modi formally welcomed him at President Bhavan on Friday. He was given a guard of honour. Along with this, he was also given a 21 gun salute. After this President Putin has left for Rajghat. President Vladimir Putin signed the visitor’s book at Rajghat after paying floral tributes and paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.

Russian President Vladimir Putin was formally welcomed at Rashtrapati Bhavan by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu. Putin will be given a guard of honour, which is the biggest honor given to the head of a country.

PM Modi and Putin will also attend a business event jointly organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Roscongress at Bharat Mandapam. In the evening, Putin will attend a state banquet hosted in his honor by President Draupadi Murmu. Putin will leave India at around 9 pm on Friday night.

Putin is going to meet PM Modi at Hyderabad House. Every year there is a summit meeting between India and Russia to review all aspects of relations, for which President Putin is coming to India. So far, 22 annual meetings have taken place between India and Russia. The Russian President last visited New Delhi in 2021. In July last year, PM Modi went to Moscow for the annual summit. Russia has been a true partner for India and an important pillar of New Delhi’s foreign policy.
