Ranveer Singh Apologises: A small fun moment of Bollywood star Ranveer Singh at the closing ceremony of IFFI 2024 has now become big news. Actually, what happened was that Ranveer copied a famous scene from the film ‘Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1’ on stage. This was the same scene in which the hero sticks out his tongue. At that time the audience took it as a joke, but social media made it a big issue in a moment.
What was the whole matter?
On the closing night of the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) held in Goa on 28 November, Ranveer Singh mimicked the famous scene of the superhit film Kantara as soon as he came on stage. He believed that he was just celebrating the excellent acting of Rishabh Shetty. But as soon as the video went viral, many people considered it an insult. After this, trolling of Ranveer Singh started on social media.

Ranveer’s apology
Seeing the growing controversy since Monday night, Ranveer Singh wrote an emotional note and shared it on his Instagram story on Tuesday. The Dhurandhar star wrote that his intention was not to hurt anyone’s religious, cultural or personal sentiments. He just wanted to salute the brilliant performance of Rishabh Shetty. While apologizing, Ranveer wrote – If any of my actions have hurt anyone, then I apologize from my heart.
Kantara’s beauty
‘Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1’, starring Rishabh Shetty and directed by him, was released in the month of October this year. This is a prequel to the blockbuster film “Kantara” released in the year 2022, which has a unique combination of God, tradition, jungle and folklore. The scene which Ranveer Singh imitated in this film is the most favorite and emotional moment of the fans. This is the reason why people are a little more sensitive about this scene.

Whatever may be the controversy, Ranveer Singh never ignores his work. These days he is ready for the release of his next film ‘Dhurandhar’, which is hitting the theaters this Friday.
