Pak-Afghan Controversy: Tension on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan is increasing every day. Meanwhile, Pakistan alleged that Taliban is supplying terrorists to our country from its border.
Pakistan-Afghanistan Controversy : The ongoing conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan is not showing any sign of stopping. Meanwhile, Pakistan alleged that the Taliban government present in Afghanistan is helping terrorists to infiltrate across the border to promote terrorist activities in the country. Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary, head of Pakistan Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), released a video on Friday in which he claimed that Afghan Taliban forces opened fire on Pakistani border posts. It also provides cover to terrorists and smugglers for illegal infiltration into Pakistan.
There is firing at Afghan posts: Pakistan
Lieutenant General Chaudhary said that there is always mutual security on the border. Both countries protect them. He said that now from the other side there is a country whose post first starts firing at your post and then the firing starts. They also provide space for terrorists to escape. The military spokesperson said that a lot of attacks are being carried out and they also help smugglers’ vehicles to pass. Answering a question, the spokesperson said that even after Army and Paramilitary Frontier Corps soldiers are deployed on the border, how can there be infiltration on the Pak-Afghan border, how can smuggling take place and how can vehicles without custom payments pass through.
The border cannot be sealed
The spokesperson said that Pakistan has built a military post at a distance of 15 to 25 kilometers on the approximately 2500 kilometer long border, but he also said that it is not possible to completely seal the border. He further said that the US country is not able to stop illegal infiltration on its border with Mexico. Apart from this, Lieutenant Chaudhary also rejected the allegations which claimed that Pakistan had carried out attacks in Afghanistan overnight. Also, there is no good or bad Taliban, Pakistan does not differentiate between terrorists in any way. On the other hand, in the ongoing Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) against the rebels, he said that since November 4, 4,910 such operations have been conducted in which about 206 terrorists have been killed. Also, Balochistan has the highest number of such operations in which BLA fighters have been killed.
