Two Bangladeshis living in a village in West Bengal: BJP

West Bengal News: Once again there is a political turmoil in West Bengal regarding infiltrators. A complaint was filed by a person two years ago against two Bangladeshis, on which BJP claimed that no action has been taken against them till now.

West Bengal News : West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee (CM Mamata Banerjee) But the opposition has been continuously alleging that she gives protection to Bangladeshis in the state. This is done only for vote bank and she deprives the people of her state of rights. The last assembly elections were fought on the same issue that if Mamata Banerjee comes to power in the state again, she will work to settle Bangladeshis so that their vote bank remains safe. Meanwhile, Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar on Sunday alleged that two Bangladeshis have been living illegally in South Dinajpur district of West Bengal for more than two years, but the police did not take any action on the instructions of CM Mamata.

Infiltrators are TMC’s vote bank: BJP

Sukant Majumdar claimed that the police remained indifferent because such people are the vote bank of the ruling TMC. He further said that a written complaint along with copies of voter ID cards giving the identity of both the persons given by the Bangladesh government has been submitted to the Bansihari police station in South Dinajpur district. The BJP leader lodged a complaint with the police on behalf of Firoz Mian, a resident of Lalpura village of Bansihari area, in an X-post two years ago, which he also posted. He claimed that even after complaining several times against the two Bangladeshi infiltrators at Bansihari police station in South Dinajpur district, the police did not take any action. It is being told that both the alleged infiltrators were identified as Lovely Begum and Abdul Mannan.

Complaint was filed two years ago

The BJP leader said that the complainant has provided sufficient documents and yet the police is not taking action. The only reason for this is that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is trying to save her vote bank and is not issuing instructions for action. At the same time, she is working to protect Bangladeshis by keeping security aside. Let us tell you that on November 27, 2023, Firoz Mian filed a complaint alleging that both the Bangladeshis were living illegally in his village and there was a possibility of them carrying out subversive activities. Mian also alleged that these two persons had entered his house and attacked him.
