Addressing a press conference at the BJP state headquarters in Lucknow, Chaudhary said that Swadeshi’s idea is not new. It was the basis of the movement against the partition of 1905 and had an important role in the freedom struggle. He said that the ‘Vocal for Local’ mantra has made progress in various fields. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s self -sufficient India call, he said that self -reliant India is not just a policy, it is the trust and resolution of 1.4 billion Indians.
Organizing indigenous fairs
Chaudhary announced that the BJP has launched a 90-day nationwide campaign titled ‘Self-reliant India and Har Ghar Swadeshi’, which will run from 25 September (the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay) from December 25 (Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary). He said that the purpose of this campaign is to strengthen the path towards making India a developed nation by 2047 keeping Swadeshi at the center. Discussing the structure and activities of the campaign, Chaudhary said that the goal is to convert the indigenous movement into a mass movement, which includes every citizen. Conferences will be organized across the state under the campaign. More than 1,000 indigenous fairs will be organized, along with more than 500 self -sufficient Bharat Sankalp Rath (Pledge Caravan) and foot march.
India is progressing fast
The UP BJP president said that government schemes like PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Promotion of natural farming and digital agriculture are leading India towards self -sufficiency in agriculture. Chaudhary also said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is on the path of becoming a world guru. He said that self -reliant India is not just a government initiative, it is becoming a mass movement. Today the whole world is watching the strength of India. India has also made a strong presence in the field of defense. Operation vermilion is a direct proof of this. Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary said that today India is progressing rapidly in many areas including rail, road, electricity, minerals. The first bullet train in India will start between Mumbai-Ahmedabad by 2029. Farmers are happy. Farmers are being given full value of their produce. The farmers of the country are farming with modern technology.
