Russo-Ukrainian War: An American developer is going to Ukraine to help them and in this connection, he has built houses for the people in a village a few kilometers away from Kiev. He is also asking for financial help from the people for this.
Russo-Ukrainian War : After the Russian invasion, lakhs of people have been displaced in Ukraine and their families have been scattered within the country and abroad. Meanwhile, many American developers have built houses for Ukrainians and tried to resettle them once again. The war has destroyed many crowded areas and in this context, developers have worked to provide relief by building some houses in a private settlement near the capital Kiev and this village is named Hansen, which was created by a real estate developer from Utah, Dale Loy Hansen. They have spent more than US$140 million so far through 2022 on building and renovating homes across Ukraine.
Seeing the pain of the people, he came to Ukraine
72 year old Dale Loy Hansen still has the desire to do many other things and he is continuously working on it. Hansen’s arrival in Ukraine comes after a public criticism. In 2020, he sold his Major League Soccer team, Real Salt Lake, after reports accused him of making racist comments. He had denied all the allegations in an interview given to news agency AP. He said that I went through a painful period but it gave me humility and that is what brought me to Ukraine. Seeing people losing everything before his eyes, Hansen said he felt compelled to take action. He said that this is not a donation for me, but a responsibility. If you can build, you can build.
provided housing to the elderly
Hansen Village is expanding, providing cash to the elderly and families along with other assistance and supporting a prosthetics clinic. He is planning a cemetery in honor of those displaced and a non-profit affordable housing program that will be expanded nationally. Ukraine’s housing crisis is very serious. Almost one out of every three citizens has left their homes, the number of people who have left their homes is around 45 lakhs. Around the eastern city of Dnipro, volunteers are converting old buildings into shelters as people arrive daily from the war-torn Donbass region.
