In such a situation, according to IMD, there will be light to moderate rain in many parts of the country for the next 4 to 5 days. Due to this cyclone, warnings of heavy rain and strong winds have been issued in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Tamil Nadu. At the same time, the weather has suddenly changed in many parts of North India. Its impact is being seen in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Delhi-NCR.
It may rain in the capital today
In view of the changing weather, IMD has issued an alert. Today the weather in Delhi is going to be very cold. Cold winds will blow during the day. There was no sunshine here even on Monday. According to the Meteorological Department, there have been major changes in the weather due to active Western Disturbance. Today on Tuesday also it will be cloudy and there may be light rain in many parts of Delhi NCR.
There will be rain in many parts of UP also
Due to Cyclone Montha, the weather has changed in many parts of UP. At the same time, it is raining at many places. It remained cloudy almost the entire day on Monday, due to which the weather changed even at night. According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at many places in western and eastern UP today. At the same time, the weather may remain clear on October 29.

Warning of high waves in Andhra Pradesh
The Indian National Center for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) and the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) have warned that with cyclone ‘Montha’ turning into a severe cyclonic storm, sea waves 2 to 4.7 meters high may arise in the coastal areas from Nellore to Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has asked people to be careful.
The winds will blow at this speed
According to IMD, moving in north-northwest direction, it will cross Andhra coast around Kakinada between Machilipatnam and Kalingapatnam in the evening of 28 October. Then it will be a severe cyclonic storm, in which the wind speed will be 90-100 km per hour, which can reach up to 110 km per hour in gusts.
