Bihar Election 2025: In the first phase of Bihar assembly elections, 63.18 percent voting took place till 5 pm. Voters participated in the great festival of democracy with full enthusiasm. Highest 67.32% in Begusarai, 60.65% in Khagaria, 54.90% in Munger, 62.76% in Lakhisarai, minimum 52.36% in Sheikhpura, 57.58% in Nalanda, 65.74% in Madhepura, 62.65% in Saharsa, 58.38% in Darbhanga, 65.23% voting was recorded in Muzaffarpur, 64.96% in Gopalganj, 57.41% in Siwan, 60.90% in Saran, 59.45% in Vaishali, 66.65% in Samastipur, 55.02% in Patna, 53.24% in Bhojpur and 55.10% in Buxar. Voting was highest in Begusarai and lowest in Patna.
People’s mood is against NDA: Akhilesh
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the BJP and JD(U) during a rally in Bihar’s East Champaran district and claimed that the youth of the state have made up their mind to oust the NDA from power and elect a Chief Minister who will give employment and not jumla. Addressing a rally to campaign for India Bloc candidates in the assembly elections, Yadav asserted that the mood of people across the state is against the ruling NDA. Half of Bihar is voting today, the other half is waiting for its turn. This time the youth will oust NDA from power and elect a Chief Minister who will provide employment and not Jumla (rhetoric). This time Bihar will write the defeat of BJP. Said that in the 10 years of BJP led central government and 20 years of Bihar government, tell me how many youth got employment?
Taunt on BJP’s development claims
