Bihar Election Result 2025: Counting of votes has started today on 243 seats of Bihar. The new government of Bihar will be announced within a few hours. Voting was held in two phases in Bihar on 6 and 11 November. Today, on November 14, the counting of votes has started from 8 am. 48 counting centers have been set up on total seats in the state. The counting of votes will be done by 243 returning officers in the presence of counting observers and their candidates or their agents. Let us tell you that a historical record of 67.13 percent voting was recorded in the 243-member assembly elections held in two phases on November 6 and November 11 in Bihar. A total of 7.45 crore voters were eligible to decide the electoral fate of 2,616 candidates.

A total of 4,372 counting tables have been installed, each of which is manned by an observer, counting assistant and a micro-observer. “More than 18,000 counting agents appointed by the nominated candidates will also monitor the process,” the Election Commission said in a statement.
Strict security arrangements
As per the instructions of the Commission, counting of postal ballots will start first and counting of EVMs will start at 8.30 am. “Adequate number of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Bihar Police personnel have been deployed across the state to ensure smooth counting of votes and prevent any untoward incident,” a senior officer said. He said that 106 companies of security personnel have also been deployed from outside the state.
These parties are contesting elections
In this election, some parties were contesting for the first time. These include Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Party and Tej Pratap Yadav’s Jan Shakti Janata Dal. NDA includes Janata Dal United, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Rashtriya Lok Morcha and Hindustani Awam Morcha, while the grand alliance includes RJD, Indian National Congress, Left Front, Vikassheel Insaan Party and IIP.
