Karnataka News: CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar met amid the ongoing tussle for the post of CM in Karnataka. He said that there is no dispute between the two leaders.

Karnataka News : Amid the ongoing controversy over the post of Chief Minister of Karnataka, Deputy CM DK Shivakumar reached CM Siddaramaiah’s residence for breakfast on Saturday. It is being told that this meeting was a very productive discussion between the two top leaders. On the request of the Congress high command, Siddaramaiah had called the Deputy CM for breakfast to discuss the growing issue of leadership. After this, Shivkumar wrote a social media post that this morning he met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for a breakfast meeting at Kaveri Residence. A productive discussion took place on Karnataka’s priority and way forward. Both the leaders also participated in a joint press conference.

There is no dispute between us: CM

During the press conference, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that there is no dispute between him and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar and no such differences will arise in the future. He further said that this was a misunderstanding spread by us, behind which the Bharatiya Janata Party was playing its role. According to the Chief Minister, in this meeting the assembly elections to be held in the year 2028 were discussed. Let us tell you that in order to calm the ongoing political conflict between Siddaramaiah and DK Shivkumar, the Congress high command had asked both the leaders to find a solution.

Kharge had talked about calling both the leaders

Let us tell you that before the meeting of Siddaramaiah and Shivkumar, Mallikarjun Kharge had said that I will call everyone and talk. He had further said that after going to Delhi, I will call three-four important leaders and talk to them in detail. Also, only after discussion will it be decided in which direction to move forward and this will also eliminate confusion. Apart from this, when Jawab Kharge was asked about calling the CM and Deputy CM to Delhi, he said that we should definitely call them and discuss. Apart from this, discussions are going on about changing the CM in Karnataka for the last 6 months and many reasons are being given behind it. It is said that when the Congress government came to power in the state, a formula was made that Siddaramaiah would be made the Chief Minister for 2.5 years.
