Pakistan News : After BLA, the biggest challenge to the Pakistan government comes from the Balochistan Republican Army (BRA). Members of this organization keep attacking other parts of Pakistan and also target the Pakistani Army. Meanwhile, a Pakistani court has sentenced two members of Ban BRA to 31-31 years of imprisonment. About 3 kilograms of explosives and weapons were recovered from these two members in Punjab province. The case against Sadan and Nabi Dada, residents of Rozhan, Balochistan, was tried in the Anti-Terrorism Court, Sahiwal, where they were sentenced to about 31 years of imprisonment.
Pak government had banned BRA in 2010
It is being told that after getting the punishment, both the culprits have been shifted to Sahiwal Central Jail. On the other hand, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab Police said that the BRA activist was arrested during a raid in Pakpattan district, about 200 km from Lahore, in June last year. CTD said that both the terrorists were planning to bomb a police building. Apart from this, about 3 thousand grams of explosive material, cable, an iron box, electric device, detonator weapon and cash were recovered from them. The Baloch Republican Army (BRA), an armed militant group from Balochistan province, was banned by the Pakistan government in 2010.
Dreamed of making Balochistan an independent country
Let us tell you that Balochistan Republican Army was started during 2004-2006 under the leadership of Nawab Akbar Bugti. Its objective is also to make Balochistan an independent country like BLA. Although initially its aim was to be a dominant state, but with the passage of time it also started demanding complete independence. Initially people from Akbar’s organization were in BLA, but after this Nawab Akbar Bugti’s grandson Brahmadag Bugti raised a separate armed wing, which was named Baloch Republican Army. However, its foundation continued to deteriorate under Akbar. At the same time, on August 26, 2006, the Pakistani Army surrounded and killed Nawab Akbar Bugti by conducting an operation and after that Brahmadag Bugti fled to Afghanistan. It is said that Brahmadagh is in exile in Switzerland, from where he runs the organization.
