Bihar Election Result 2025: The counting of votes cast for Bihar assembly elections started on Friday morning. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) seems to be taking a clear lead in the initial trends. Meanwhile, a poster outside Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s residence attracted people’s attention, in which Nitish Kumar is seen standing with a tiger and it is written in big letters, ‘Tiger is still alive’. This poster, prepared in a filmy style, is clearly giving the message of power and influence. This poster was put up at the same time when the Election Commission started releasing trends. According to the trends available on the Election Commission website, the ruling NDA was leading on 111 seats, while the opposition ‘India’ alliance was leading on 33 seats. Bharatiya Janata Party 48, Janata Dal United 44, LJP (Ram Vilas) 13 and we were ahead on three seats. On the other hand, Rashtriya Janata Dal was leading on 23 seats, Congress on seven and Vikassheel Insaan Party on one seat.

A historic turnout of 67.13 percent was recorded in the elections held in two phases on November 6 and November 11 for the 243-member Assembly in Bihar. In this, a total of 7.45 crore voters decided the electoral fate of 2,616 candidates. Janata Dal United made a post from its official X account and claimed in it that today not just one person but the entire Bihar is winning. Seeing the initial trends, there is a wave of happiness in NDA and its leaders are hoping that this time also NDA government is going to be formed. However, more rounds of voting have not been done yet.

At present, looking at the initial trends, NDA has a huge lead. At the same time, the Grand Alliance is also slowly but surely lagging behind the party. At the same time, in another poster, JDU wrote that ‘Just wait for a few hours, the government of good governance is coming again’. According to the Election Commission, Left parties are leading in nine assembly seats in Bihar. CPI (ML) Liberation is leading on seven seats, while CPI(M) is leading on two seats. CPI (ML) Liberation candidates are leading in Darunda, Paliganj, Arrah, Dumraon, Karakat, Arwal and Ghosi seats. On the other hand, CPI(M) is leading in Hayaghat and Vibhutipur seats. Counting of votes is underway on 243 assembly seats in the state, in which the NDA is leading on more than 190 seats and the India Bloc, of which both the Left parties are constituents, is leading on only 49 seats.
